First, a word about the story:

Well, it is hard to call this a "story"...
Everything is a bit confusing, this might be because I don't speak Japanese, but what I see are short scenes stuck together to a one hour show. I think, everybody needed some more experience. ^_^

We start with the opening song "Mystery Sagashi", sung by the five soldiers. A nice song, but the choreography isn't very exiting. They are disturbed by the arrival of Queen Beryl and the four generals. This is the time, the soldiers start screaming - they will hardly stop until the end of the musical. Queen Beryl talks a lot about the silver crystal and so, and hurt the soldiers - serious it seems...

The next scene contains Luna and Artemis, in panic all the time, running and jumping on and off the stage. They seem to be very worried.
The next cut is really confusing. The girls are on stage, happy during a shopping tour. Only Usagi seem to be very tired. Didn't they had a fight? Oh, alright, this was only a dream of Usagi! After she has told the others about her dream, their teacher, Haruna-Sensei, appears. She is so sexy, she can hardly move in this skirt, oh, no! They all sing a song about summer vacation, during which Rei seems to get worried about Haruna-Sensei...
No one believes her, so she has to prove it with her "Akuryo Taisan!" speech. Now we can see it, too: Haruna-Sensei is a monster, one of the DD-girls, I think. The girls want to transform, but they all get hurt by the DD-girls, no way to shout their transforming speeches...
Now this is the time for a new appearance: the great Tuxedo Kamen enters the show, singing a song about his roses with Usagi and the Youma...

Luna and Artemis use this situation for talking about the lost Silver Millennium, and this history is shown right after this: Serenity and Endymion are dancing together, the soldiers join them with Endymion's Generals. During the royal couple's kiss, Luna and Artemis jump into the ballroom, telling them about Queen Beryl's attack. The soldiers run off for protection, but they turned as they see the generals don't join them. Bad decision, because their lovers had turned against them and injure them for Queen Beryl...

Back in the present, Luna and Artemis, always in hurry, are looking for Usagi, discussing her and Endymion.
Minako meet a nice guy, who remembers her about her first love, she sings a song about this. The guy has got three friends, who joined them for rock-n-roll dancing with Ami, Rei and Makoto. Usagi cries for being the only one lonely. The couples leave, Usagi is left alone and really sad. Her wet tissue "meets" Mamoru, who enters the scene in this moment. They seem to be very close already.
Next is Luna and Artemis again, Luna sings something about girls love...
In the meantime, the four girls discover that their guys are no one else as the for generals, to late, because they are already in their trap. Queen Beryl finally appears in reality, no dream this time. She hurts everyone real bad and catches poor Mamo-chan, who wanted to help. The soldiers look very weak again.
But they decide to go for rescue, during "Sailor War", my favourite song in this musical. They cheer up each over and will go as a team...
Queen Beryl, wearing an awful special dress, sings her image song in her Dark Kingdom, Mamoru is tightened to a cross. The soldiers appear one after another and fight against their formal lovers and the DD-girls. This scene is really missing singing, dancing and background music make me think of a Russian folk dance...(Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha!)
Every former couple has got its own showdown while Usagi frees Mamoru. The soldiers are forced to attack their former lovers with their magic speeches, some think they could free them of the bad influence, but they are all betrayed - and killed. Venus - Kunzite is very sad, she has to kill them both with her Venus Love Me Chain.
Sailor Moon is left alone with Mamoru. Queen Beryl attacks them and kills Mamoru, who wanted to protect Usagi. Usagi's last hope is the power of her silver crystal. Although Luna and Artemis are not kind with this idea - it will kill her, as we all know - she takes her Cutie Moon Rod (This one is not cute after all, it is huge!).
The dead soldiers cheer Usagi up and give her their powers, so Usagi is able to defeat Beryl in a very, very long but unspectacular fight with "Moon Princess Hallation".
Luna and Artemis AGAIN. They seem so know and to explain, what has happened. They run off for see the girls.

In the meantime, Usagi is dying. She is dying for a long time. Forgive me Anza, but this scene is more silly than heart moving...

Luna and Artemis arrive, shouting the girls' names. And there they are! Everybody reborn, jumping around happy during "La soldier". Everything is fine at the end.

A word about the costumes:

Usagi don't fit her civil costume. She could take ChibiUsa within it...
Makoto looks like a farmer with this outfit and hat.
Rei's Shinto Dress on the other side is really good made, lovely.

The guy's moon kingdom costumes are bad, that's all I can say. What is this stuff on their shoulders??
The Youmas don't look bad after all, but Queen Beryl, well, "attacked by a Christmas tree" says it all.
The soldiers dresses are well made, although they don't have the right colours all.
Luna and Artemis: the actress' needed much courage to go on stage in their costumes.

The wigs: Awful. Usagi, Minako and the generals look like dolls which has been attacked by crazy birds.

A word about the music:

Not bad, some very good songs, like La soldier, Sailor War and others. But there should be some more of them. I really miss singing during the fighting scenes, the BGM is not fitting the situations.

A word about the choreography:

Everybody needs a bit more practice. And more action.

A word in general:

Is it necessary, that everyone is screaming 80 % of the show? Luna and Artemis are always in panic, they disturb the story's ongoing.
There is no real storyline. No one would understand without knowing the manga or anime. Just a collection of some scenes and songs. The final battle is silly, that's all, not exiting, just overdid.

Well, it was a nice try, and has some good moments, yes. But I wonder how this show could become the great happening the know from the following stages. It is astonishing, what they made out of their first mistakes.

Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed this one. But there is no equality to the following ones...
